The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
Dr. Lentz is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification and recertification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.
The American Board of Surgery (ABS)
Dr. Lentz is a diplomate of The American Board of Surgery, an independent, non-profit organization that certifies surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training and knowledge. Surgeons certified by the ABS, known as diplomates, have completed a minimum of five years of surgical residency training following medical school and successfully completed a written and oral examination process administered by the ABS.
American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)
Dr. Lentz is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. The ASPS was established over 75 years ago and is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world. ASPS Member Surgeons have more than six years of surgical training and experience, with at least three years specifically in plastic surgery.
American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS)
Dr. Lentz is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, an organization of board-certified plastic surgeons specializing in cosmetic plastic surgery. With 2,400 members in the United States, Canada, and other parts of the world, ASAPS is dedicated to advancing the science, art, and safe practice of aesthetic plastic surgery.
American College of Surgeons (ACS)
Dr. Lentz is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913 to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice.
Florida Medical Association
Founded in 1874, the Florida Medical Association is a professional association dedicated to the service and assistance of Doctors of Medicine and Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine in Florida. The FMA represents more than 19,000 physicians on issues of legislation and regulatory affairs, medical economics and education, public health, and ethical and legal issues. We advocate for physicians and their patients to promote the public health, ensure the highest standards of medical practice, and to enhance the quality and availability of health care in the Sunshine State.
