Mission Work Abroad
Dr. Ashley K. Lentz has a passion for giving back to patients that are unable to care for themselves. She has participated in several cleft lip and palate missions over the years with Austin Smiles, Interplast South, and Global Smile Foundation. Dr. Ashley K. Lentz is currently the President of Interplast South, and she runs a cleft mission twice a year to San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The team consists of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, technicians and residents. They perform between 35 and 40 surgeries each trip to help improve the quality of life for children and adults that do not have access to healthcare.
