CONVENIENTLY LOCATED TO SERVE ORMOND BEACH
"Communication is the most critical aspect of patient care. Results must match expectations. Without excellent communication, expectations cannot be matched. I spend a lot of time with my patients trying to determine what is the best operation for personal success and achievement of patient goals. "
Due to time, weight loss, and other factors, our thighs sag and lose their once-firm, smooth, and supple shape, but a thigh lift in Ormond Beach can address that particular concern. Dr. Lentz will utilize modern techniques to restore a tighter and more youthful appearance to the thighs.
What Is a Thigh Lift?
The thigh lift, also known as thighplasty, is a surgical procedure that reshapes the inner and outer thighs through the removal of excess fat and skin from the upper leg.
A thigh lift offers several benefits—it restores attractive contours to the legs, creates a smoother skin texture, and highlights muscle definition. Thigh lift procedures can also minimize the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks.
Is a Thigh Lift Right for Me?
If you want to get rid of the sagging on your thighs, you may be an ideal candidate. The best candidates include people who are in good health, do not smoke, have a stable weight, and have a positive outlook and realistic goals about the procedure. Good candidates for thigh lift surgery also include people who have excessive skin laxity due to extreme weight loss.
Your Thigh Lift Consultation
During your thigh lift consultation, Dr. Lentz will discuss your concerns, your motivation, goals, and expectations regarding the procedure. Dr. Lentz will also inquire about your medical history, allergies, previous surgeries, and current medications (including vitamins and supplements).
A physical examination will be conducted of your thighs, and photographs may be taken. Dr. Lentz will discuss your options regarding the procedure and recommend a course of treatment. She will also talk to you about possible outcomes, as well as potential complications.

What Happens During a Thigh Lift?
To ensure a patient’s comfort during the procedure, anesthesia will be administered. Options for anesthesia include general anesthesia and intravenous sedation with local anesthesia.
The second step involves the incision. Patterns for the incision differ—it will depend on the area or areas that require treatment, the adjustments needed, and the desired outcome.
There are a few techniques used to treat the inner thigh. One method calls for incisions created in the groin area—this will extend downward and wrap throughout the back of the thigh. The second method involves the removal of excess skin from the groin down to the knee by creating an incision throughout the inseam.
Once the removal or repositioning of tissue is complete, stitches will be made to close the incisions.
* Individual results may vary.
Your Thigh Lift Recovery Process
The initial two weeks of thigh lift recovery are crucial; thus, you have to make sure that you are prepared. You may be able to get back to work after a few weeks, but avoid sitting on your incisions for faster healing. You will also be advised to wear compression garments for the first several weeks.
If you underwent a more significant thigh reduction, you might be advised to take four to six weeks of recovery. Longer incisions often require a longer healing time.
You will be advised to avoid physical activity for six to eight weeks, but you can perform light exercises after two to three weeks. Other specific aftercare instructions will be given before you are sent home after your surgery.
How Much Does a Thigh Lift Cost?
The cost of thigh lift surgery will be based on the extent of work needed to achieve the desired results, among other factors. The anesthetic and surgical fees will reflect the overall price of your treatment. If you have combination procedures done, that will affect your total.
