What to Expect

Similarly to breast augmentation in Central Florida, Dr. Lentz performs breast reduction as an outpatient surgery in an AAAASF-certified operating room and uses general anesthesia so you remain asleep throughout the surgery. During the procedure, Dr. Lentz removes excess tissue and fat, and in some cases moves or reduces the size of the nipple as well. He takes great care to place incisions so scars will be concealed, even with low-cut tops.

After surgery, you should be able to return to work within a couple weeks, unless you have a physically demanding job. You should also be able to resume many normal activities, including light exercise, after several weeks.
